Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has responded to calls for changes to be made to his tactical setup.
This of course comes fresh off the Blaugrana’s 2nd defeat in succession.
Barcelona marked their return to action on Sunday evening, making the trip to Andalusia for a La Liga meeting with Sevilla.
And when all was said and done on a day to forget, the Spanish champions found themselves condemned to the wrong side of a 4-1 scoreline.
Not only the result, but the manner of Barcelona’s performance gave rise to inevitable widespread criticism post-match.
And front and centre in this condemnation was the aforementioned Hansi Flick.
Tactician Flick has now seen his side picked apart at the back in back-to-back fixtures, giving rise to calls for what are deemed by many to be necessary tweaks and adjusments moving forward.
Speaking to the media in the aftermath of Sunday’s clash, the possibility of as much was in turn put to Barca’s headmaster himself.
Flick, however, was defiant in his response, assuring:
“Changing my system? I don’t think it’s about the system, rather, we need to avoid making these big mistakes.”
