Hany Mukhtar hits century mark with historic Nashville SC brace | OneFootball

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Hany Mukhtar made history once again for Nashville SC.

The former Landon Donovan MLS MVP scored his 100th MLS goal (95 regular season, five Audi MLS Cup Playoffs) with a first-half brace to guide Saturday's 2-0 win over Toronto FC at GEODIS Park. 

Mukhtar is just the 16th player in league history to hit 100 goals, and the only active player apart from Columbus Crew striker Josef Martínez.

He's the first German-born player ever to hit that mark.

Nashville legend

Mukhtar is now up to 13g/7a in 2026, reaching at least 20 goal contributions in five of the last six seasons. Seven of his goals have come since the 2026 FIFA World Cup break.

Across all competitions, the 31-year-old leads the Coyotes with 108 goals and 74 assists.

Trophy hunt

Now in his seventh season in the Music City, Mukhtar has led Nashville to six playoff appearances and the 2025 US Open Cup title.

However, B.J. Callaghan's side are searching for more this year. 

The Coyotes clinched the first 2026 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs spot last week with a 3-0 win over Chicago Fire FC. On Saturday, they became the second-fastest team in MLS history to reach 60 points in a season, doing so in their first 27 games.

And by ending Matchday 28 with an eight-point lead in the Supporters' Shield race, they're close to clinching their first MLS trophy in club history.
