“He would be great” – Gary Neville backs Chelsea to sign England star in 2026

Football pundit Gary Neville has backed Chelsea to sign an England star and believes he would be great at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea will surely be in the mix to sign more new players in the next two transfer windows as is the way they operate these days, and Chelsea fans would love them to add a bit more experience and a marquee name or two to the ranks.

EXCLUSIVE! Cole Palmer now has NEW injury and will be out for a set time!

Chelsea already made some plans so that they will be able to spend some money in the January transfer window if needed, but I’m not sure whether this deal would be doable for then anyway.

They would absolutely need to sell more players in the winter window regardless, no matter who they might be trying to sign. And it looks like winger Raheem Sterling might actually finally leave the club in that window – although I’ll personally believe that when I see it.

But what about Harry Kane, Blues fans? Would you fancy that? I think most would. I know I would. He’s a world class player and is still so good.

Kane to Chelsea?

As cited on SPTC today, Gary Neville said on Harry Kane:

“Chelsea are the club that I can see him having the biggest impact in and shooting most.

“I think at Chelsea, if you look at the team at the moment and you think what’s missing, they have got a lack of sort of what would be prominence up front and they’ve got a lot of energy and enthusiasm and potential around it with Palmer and all the rest of them.

“He would be great at Chelsea as a player, but can he go to Chelsea because of the rivalry?”
