There is a ‘heavy silence’ which has fallen over a transfer for Leeds United goalkeeper Lucas Perri, which ‘raises concerns’ in Turin that he may not join Torino.
Perri has appeared to be on the brink of moving to Torino for over a week after the arrival of James Trafford at Elland Road seemed to open the door for him to complete a move.
Torino even held off a hijack attempt from Marseille and were preparing to welcome Perri to Italy for his medical checks.
It then emerged Torino were just waiting for their president to sign off the completion of the move, but since then, the trail has gone cold.
According to Italian outlet Cuore Toro, there is a ‘heavy silence’ that has fallen over Perri moving to Torino and that ‘raises concerns’ that another goalkeeper may not arrive at the Serie A side.

Perri was even named on the bench for Leeds’ 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest in their Premier League opener on Saturday.
The Brazilian shot-stopper is keen to leave Elland Road as he looks to play on a regular basis, something which will not happen if he stays at Leeds.
Trafford, a club record signing, is now Daniel Farke’s number 1 and Perri has little chance of dislodging the shot-stopper.
There is still time for Torino to get a swoop for Perri over the line before the transfer window closes, but the silence around the move is not encouraging.

Leeds signed Perri from French side Lyon last summer with an eye on him become the club’s long term number 1.
He struggled to impress though and soon lost his spot to Karl Darlow, being relegated to becoming Leeds’ cup goalkeeper.
