Héctor Fort out of Euskal Herria Txapela squad with minor muscle problem | OneFootball

According to Diario Vasco, Héctor Fort is absent from Real Sociedad’s squad and starting XI for the Euskal Herria Txapela meeting with Athletic at Anoeta. A late minor muscle issue keeps the right-back out, and there is no suggestion of serious concern.

With Jon Mikel Aramburu away on international duty, Iñaki Rupérez, back with Sanse this season, will take the right flank for this game. Fort is expected to return for the next session at Zubieta.

Fort had been set to draw attention in this derby after minutes against Elche, then a start on the right against Bournemouth under Matarazzo. He struggled, repeatedly surrendering possession, and by the half-hour was out of breath, so he was withdrawn at the break.

His bid to make amends is delayed, and he will now wait for the Deportivo match on Sunday 11.

Real Sociedad’s starting XI is Remiro, Rupérez, Beitia, Pacheco, Aihen, Gorrotxategi, Turrientes, Zakharyan, Marín, Guedes and Marchal. The line-up includes eight academy graduates.
