Newcastle 2 Manchester City 1 – Saturday 22 November 2025 5.30pm

The photo that Newcastle United fans had all really really wanted to see on Wednesday!

OneFootball Videos

Eddie Howe leading his team to a massive victory.

His first Newcastle United win in the Premier League against Man City.

Whilst this also marks six home wins in a row in all competitions.

The entire team were brilliant but a superb brace from Harvey Barnes in the second-half, this coming after he missed an open goal in the first-half!

A winning snapshot post-match.

The all important winning photo =  The ninth of the season.

I am pretty sure that this is also the first ever NUFC winning photo that Yoane Wissa has appeared in.

The Newcastle United Head Coach introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo following each victory, as he felt it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.

It is also a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.

‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc’

I absolutely love it.

At least 32 more games to go this season in all competitions, so hopefully a fair few more of these photos to come.
