National League side Macclesfield Town came from behind to beat Woking on Friday thanks to one of the most amateurish goals we think we’ve ever seen.
With the score level at 2-2 deep into stoppage time, a headed punt forward was latched on to by Silkmen striker Tyrone Marsh, who appeared to toe poke the ball past the goalkeeper for a dramatic late winner.
But Woking were in fact handed a lifeline when the ball got stuck in the muddy goalmouth. Or should we say, they would have been handed a lifeline had their defenders still been paying attention.
Oh mate.
