Roma working on January move for Endrick | OneFootball

The transfer market never stops, and Roma continues to work to complete Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.

The Giallorossi coach had already highlighted some unmet needs after the summer transfer window closed, with sporting director Tony D’Amico admitting that some objectives had not been met due to a series of transfer window entanglements.

With their sights already set on January, the Roma management has reportedly begun taking the first steps to strengthen their attack.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, D’Amico is working to reach an agreement with Real Madrid to bring Endrick to the capital.

The young Brazilian striker would be a particularly desirable prospect for Roma. Having arrived at Real Madrid from Palmeiras with high expectations, Endrick is finding little room in a squad packed with top players and could consider a loan spell to gain more consistent playing time.

The 2006-born striker’s attributes—a quick, technical center forward with a strong attacking ability—would fit Gasperini’s tactical requirements.

For this reason, the Giallorossi are reportedly considering a move similar to those they’ve used in the past with young, international talents.

The idea is a loan move, with the option of a buy-out option and buy-back option in favor of Real Madrid, thus safeguarding the Spanish club’s future. Negotiations are still in their early stages, but Roma have reportedly already begun work ahead of the January transfer window.
