Post-Match Data
Tigres are unbeaten in 16 consecutive matches against MLS opposition in the Concacaf Champions Cup (W9 D7). No other team in the modern era of the competition (since 2008) has gone more than eight straight matches against MLS opponents without defeat.
● This is the seventh time Tigres have conceded the first goal of the match against an MLS team in the Concacaf Champions Cup since 2016-17, and they have come back to avoid defeat in all seven games (W4 D3).
● Evander’s goal for FC Cincinnati in the 18th minute was the earliest goal scored by an MLS team in an away match against a Liga MX team in the Concacaf Champions Cup since New York Red Bulls scored twice in the opening nine minutes at Santos Laguna in 2019.
● Ozziel Herrera and Juan Brunetta are the first pair of Tigres teammates to each record a goal and an assist in a Concacaf Champions Cup match since Enner Valencia and Julián Quiñones against Houston Dynamo in 2019. Herrera is the first Tigres player with one of each as a substitute since at least 2016-17.
● Tigres’ three goals against FC Cincinnati were scored within eight minutes (Ozziel Herrera at 64’, Juan Brunetta at 69’ and Nicolás Ibañez at 72’). It’s the second fastest Los Felinos have scored three goals in a Concacaf Champions Cup match since 2016-17, only doing so faster against Motagua in 2023 (three goals in seven minutes).
