According to L'Équipe, Hervé Renard has told Tunisian officials he will not continue as national team head coach, despite their wish to keep him.

Renard replaced Sabri Lamouchi during the World Cup after Tunisia opened with a 1-5 defeat to Sweden. He inherited a side in clear difficulty.

Tunisia were eliminated in the group stage.
