Hicham Boudaoui close to Al-Ittihad move as PIF approval awaited

Hicham Boudaoui is closer than ever to leaving Nice for Al-Ittihad, with final clearance for the move still pending.

According to L'Équipe, the clubs have agreed a fee of around € eight million.

The Algerian midfielder has given his approval to head to Saudi Arabia.

Completion remains conditional on a sign-off from the country’s sovereign wealth fund, PIF, which validates transfers.

Once approved, Boudaoui would be permitted to undergo his medical and move towards finalising the deal.
