Simon Jordan and Eni Aluko's public spat blew up on Tuesday afternoon on Talksport

A lip reader has revealed what Simon Jordan said to Eni Aluko during their explosive discussion on Talksport earlier this week.

The former England international went onto Jordan and Jim White’s show to defend her recent criticisms of Ian Wright.

The 38-year-old has claimed that the women’s game shouldn’t have people like Wright at the forefront of TV coverage and punditry.

In particular, she was displeased with being left out of ITV’s Euro 2025 final coverage, with the former Arsenal striker, along with Nedum Onuoha, being chosen instead.

The former Crystal Palace owner has criticised these comments, and he continued to attack Aluko after she doubled down on this stance during the broadcast.

It’s been claimed by lip reader Jeremy Freeman that Jordan told Aluko to drop the conversation before they returned from an ad break, which elicited no response from the former England player.

He told her that nobody cares about the issue, with Aluko receiving a lot of wider criticism for her public spat with Wright.

“But nobody cares, drop this,” Freeman claimed said Jordan, via the Daily Mail.

“It's definitely you. I know it. I know.”

The two continued to argue on air regarding the issue, with Aluko continuing to suggest that women should be the focal point of women’s football TV coverage.

Jordan has made a name for himself since leaving his role as Crystal Palace chairman for his commentary on the men’s game, including the EFL.

The 58-year-old even recently revealed that he was involved in a consortium that intended to bid for Sheffield Wednesday, who are currently in administration.

However, their plans did not ultimately reach the negotiating process, with Jordan walking away from a potential offer to buy the Yorkshire outfit.

The Owls remain in administration despite a preferred bidder being named last December, with the side bottom of the Championship table.

Simon Jordan and Eni Aluko feud has no winners

Jordan and Aluko getting into it on air while Wright remains out of the entire discussion shows that there is only one good stance to take in this argument.

The former Match of the Day pundit has been a great voice for the women’s game in the United Kingdom, and he can continue to do that by staying out of these public feuds.

Sheffield Wednesday supporters will be glad that Jordan is not involved in the takeover process for the club anymore with these kinds of antics.

It is exactly these kinds of personal feuds that would draw unwanted attention on the Owls, which they will now be pleased to avoid.
