Hlynsson and Ørjasæter sink Feyenoord as FC Twente rise to fifth | OneFootball

FC Twente beat Feyenoord 2-0 at De Grolsch Veste to climb from sixth to fifth in the Eredivisie.

Kristian Hlynsson arrowed a right-footed strike from outside the box into the top left corner in the first minute of first half stoppage time, teed up by Sondre Ørjasæter on a fast break.

After the restart, Lars Unnerstall denied Jordan Lotomba with a low stop (48.) as the visitors pressed for a response.

Feyenoord made a flurry of changes around the hour mark, but Ørjasæter then found the same top-left postage stamp with a left-footer from the left side of the box (72.), laid on by Hlynsson.

The visitors were disrupted before the interval, losing Gijs Smal and then Bart Nieuwkoop to injury in quick succession.

FC Twente carried sustained threat, registering 19 attempts with eight on target. Feyenoord produced eight attempts, with Anis Hadj Moussa striking the post early on.
