In a recent interview with kicker, Uli Hoeneß also made it clear how important Kane is to the record champions. The honorary president said that a long-term stay was „a dream“. At the same time, he emphasized that Kane and his family obviously feel very comfortable in Munich – a decisive factor in the bidding for the attacker

But this is precisely where the challenge lies. Hoeneß openly expressed his concern that financially strong clubs from Saudi Arabia could intervene in the poker game. „You never know when a Saudi will come and put big money on the table …“, he emphasized

This fear is by no means unfounded. There was already concrete interest from the Saudi Pro League in the summer of 2023, but Kane turned it down at the time in favor of a move to Munich

According to Transferfeed, the interest has by no means waned. Al Nassr in particular is said to still be very interested in the England captain. The club would be prepared to lure Kane with a salary of up to €25 million net per year – a sum that would effectively double his current salary at FC Bayern

It remains to be seen whether Kane will be able to resist such an offer, but one thing is clear: the striker is not only interested in the financial aspect

There is already speculation in England that a possible Champions League triumph could have a significant influence on his future decision. A major title with Bayern could be more likely to persuade him to leave

For Munich, this creates a clear starting position. If Kane does indeed develop thoughts of moving, next summer would be the last realistic opportunity to achieve a high transfer fee. His current market value is around 65 million euros

But that is exactly what Bayern want to prevent. Their goal is clear: Harry Kane should remain the face of the successful project under Vincent Kompany – preferably beyond 2027.
