Kicker reports that Hoffenheim have identified Feyenoord winger Leo Sauer as a potential replacement for Bazoumana Touré, who recently joined Newcastle United for €50 million.

The Slovakian wide player is predominantly right-footed, offering a different profile to the speedy Ivorian.

Feyenoord are understood to be seeking around €7 million for Sauer, and he remains under contract with the Eredivisie club until 2028.

Last season he registered four goals and two assists in 26 top-flight appearances for Feyenoord.

Hoffenheim are also said to have other candidates on their shortlist as they look to replace the 20-year-old Touré.
