Holly Mears: It feels amazing | OneFootball

Leeds United Women have added another shot-stopper to the squad with the arrival of 20-year-old Holly Mears.

The goalkeeper links up with Simon Wood's side after joining from Norwich City Women, where she helped her side to promotion last campaign.

“It feels amazing! I’m excited and can’t wait to get started,” the 'keeper said after linking up with the squad.

“I was at Norwich City Women last season, it was good and I enjoyed it. I came here and from what I’ve seen it’s been great so far, I’m enjoying it as well.

“The opportunities they give are amazing and it feels like it’s something that you can’t miss out on.

“The training facilities are great and the opportunity that Simon has given me, it all sounded amazing.”

On her aspirations for the new campaign, Holly added: “Hopefully to get promoted. It would be brilliant for the team, and for me, just to get that experience and minutes to better myself.”
