Barcelona president Joan Laporta has left those in a position of power at both FIFA and UEFA less than impressed with his recent behaviour.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Sunday provided an insight into some of the finer details of the situation.
Laporta is for his part of course widely known for his outspoken nature.
And it is precisely this nature which has landed the Spanish patron in hot water with football’s two most high-profile governing bodies.
Laporta first angered UEFA in recently announcing his fresh support for the Super League project.
It was then FIFA’s turn to make their disgruntlement with Barca’s president clear, owing to a round of critical comments regarding the Club World Cup, and Inter Miami’s inclusion in the tournament at Barcelona’s expense.
Sport in turn conclude that:
‘These are not good times for FC Barcelona’s international relations with both FIFA and UEFA.’
