Josip Drmic joined Norwich City in the summer of 2019, with former Canary Timm Klose playing his part in persuading the Swiss forward to join the then-Premier League club.
Appearing 24 times in all competitions during his first season with the Canaries, Drmic netted three times, with injury issues hindering his progress at Carrow Road.
Unable to pave his way back into the squad the following campaign, the forward was then sent on loan to Croatian club HNK Rijeka for the second of the 2020/21 campaign, proceeding to score nine times in 20 outings in all competitions.
Drmic returned on loan to Rijeka last season and he managed an even more impressive campaign, scoring 25 times in 37 appearances, with 21 of those goals coming in the league.

Departing the Canaries permanently in the summer, it was Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb who won the race to his signature.
Drmic has scored five times in 17 appearances thus far, with three of those goals coming in the league and the other two coming in the Champions League qualifiers.
The Swiss forward has come on as a substitute during the club’s first two Champions League matches this season, with his side securing a 1-0 victory over Chelsea, before losing out 3-1 to AC Milan.
There appears to be a lot of rotation within Dinamo Zagreb’s attacking options, with Drmic hoping he can start more regularly as the season progresses.
