Jarrod Bowen has been heavily linked with a move away from West Ham United this summer
West Ham United have officially been relegated to the Championship, and for the first time in 14 years, the Hammers will be playing second-tier football next season, as Nuno Espirito Santo's side prepares for a hectic summer.
Despite a comfortable 3-0 home victory on the final day against Leeds United, results elsewhere meant that the Hammers' late efforts of survival were futile, as Tottenham Hotspur defeated Everton to send West Ham back down to the Championship.
Indeed, the 62,500 capacity London Stadium will be used to host second-tier football for the first time in history in a matter of months, but before then, a huge summer transfer window beckons for Nuno's side.
It has been reported that the club could be forced to raise in excess of £100 million in player sales this summer following the loss of Premier League revenue, which firmly puts the likes of Mateus Fernandes, Crysencio Summerville, and Jarrod Bowen in the shop window as the most obvious candidates to generate funds.
Bowen, in particular, has been West Ham's star man for several years at this stage, and his exit would be felt more than most, as with both Spurs and Everton circling for his services, it has been revealed exactly how the forward feels about leaving the club.

With over 100 goal contributions in over 230 Premier League appearances, as well as 22 England caps, Bowen is almost certainly West Ham's star player.
However, the 29-year-old may not be the player they are able to sell for the most this summer, with both Fernandes and Summerville recently heavily touted with a €130 million (£112 million) move to European giants PSG.
The sale of these two would more than raise enough funds to keep the Hammers out of any imminent financial trouble, and could also help to keep Bowen at the club, as TEAMtalk previously revealed that the Englishman could well stay with the club despite relegation.
Bowen is said to be extremely happy living in London and loves playing for West Ham, with his loyalty firmly lying with the Hammers.
The Englishman scored the late winner in West Ham's UEFA Europa Conference League final victory over Fiorentina just three years ago, etching his name in Hammers folklore forever, and with 280 appearances for the club across all competitions, should he stay, he will go down as a modern-day West Ham legend.
However, with Premier League clubs circling for his signature, there is no guarantee that he will be sticking around for the Championship and may see his immediate future in the top flight.
Everton and Spurs certainly have enough money to prise him away from East London, though whether he will view money as an important factor in any move remains to be seen.
West Ham can take solace in the fact that he has yet to push for a move and shown no indication of wanting to leave the club, and with TEAMtalk previously revealing that he is happy in London, he could yet stick around for the second tier, in which he will almost certainly be a cheat code.
Spurs will, of course, have an advantage over Everton by the fact that they are also situated in the capital, though any move to a London rival would tarnish their Hammers reputation somewhat, as this saga is one to keep an eye on.

Nuno is no stranger to the Championship, having previously won the second-tier title with Wolverhampton Wanderers back in 2018, and knows exactly what it takes to guide a team out of the division.
With that Wolves side, he had the likes of Diogo Jota up top, Ruben Neves in midfield, and Willy Boly in defence, and will be hoping for similar firepower next time around.
Bowen could single-handedly guide the Hammers back to the Premier League if he were to stick around at the London Stadium next campaign, possessing the necessary experience and ability to spearhead their promotion push.
