Bradford City are reportedly interested in signing Fleetwood Town attacker Ryan Graydon in the January transfer window.
As the January transfer window approaches, Bradford City will be sensing a brilliant opportunity to enhance their chances of securing back-to-back promotions from League Two up into the Championship, and they are lining up Fleetwood Town man Ryan Graydon to assist them in their cause.
Bradford, following their promotion to League One in dramatic fashion on the final day of last season, have surpassed pre-season expectations to launch a genuine automatic promotion challenge in League One.
The Bantams, under the management of Graham Alexander, embarked upon a busy summer transfer window which saw the arrival of plenty of experience, such as former Wigan Athletic midfielder Max Power, former Blackpool defender Curtis Tilt and former Barnsley attacker Stephen Humphrys.
Their 2-0 victory over Reading at Valley Parade on Saturday afternoon, courtesy of goals from Antoni Sarcevic and Bobby Pointon, means that City remain tucked inside the top two and the automatic promotion spots in League One.
Now, as they approach the winter and seek to further bolster their squad, they have been linked with a move for Fleetwood attacker Graydon, who may well cost a hefty fee.

According to Alan Nixon, via his Patreon, Bradford City are lining up an ‘ambitious’ move to try and sign ‘highly rated’ forward Ryan Graydon as soon as this January.
Nixon has also reported that Fleetwood Town are expected to ask for around £350,000 for the 26-year-old attacker, who is a former Republic of Ireland U19 international.
Within the report on Patreon, it has also been suggested that Bradford’s Yorkshire and League One rivals Rotherham United will also enter the race to sign the Ballymun-born forward.
The Cod Army do have the option to extend his contract, which is currently due to expire in the summer of 2026, by a further 12 months, perhaps explaining why a move for him could prove to be so expensive.

In what has been a very impressive campaign for Bradford thus far, one area that can be improved in order to sustain their promotion push would be becoming more prolific and effective in the final third.
They have the joint fifth-best attacking record in the division, albeit that doesn’t necessarily say much for what has been a lower scoring season, having notched 28 goals in 19 games.
The concern, though, would be that their top scorers from those 19 games are the experienced Antoni Sarcevic alongside youngster Bobby Pointon.
Sarcevic, always good for a goal and certainly a worthwhile contributor, but still not, especially at 33, who you necessarily want to rely upon to fire you to the Championship over the course of a season, while Pointon, only 21 and a local lad, will want to avoid the pressure of that, too.
Ryan Graydon would provide an added threat, with his versatility of being able to play both out-wide and up-front seemingly ideal for Alexander’s three-at-the-back system.
Graydon, who began his career at Bohemians before moves to Bray Wanderers, Longford Town and Derry City, joined Fleetwood in 2023 and has gone on to make over 80 appearances for the Lancastrians.
He scored his seventh of the campaign on Saturday afternoon, as Fleetwood eased to a comfortable 2-0 defeat of rock-bottom Newport County in their pursuit of the top seven in League Two.
