The 34-year-old full-back could be playing in Old Gold come the start of next season
Wolverhampton Wanderers appear to be turning one eye toward the summer transfer window.
You could argue that this needs to be done since their relegation was confirmed last week, with many departures looming across key positions.
One report from The Athletic named nine players who are all highly likely to leave the club in the coming months, including the likes of Joao Gomes and Andre, who were described as 'certain' exits.
Another player listed was full-back Jackson Tchatchoua, whose successor may well be Rangers' captain James Tavernier.
It has been reported by TEAMtalk that Wolves are monitoring the situation with Tavernier following confirmation of his exit from Rangers at the end of the season.
With this in mind, FLW takes a look at how much money the 144-goal star earns at Ibrox.

Said report from TEAMtalk details how Wolves are eyeing Rangers' James Tavernier transfer, with a Spurs threat emerging as competition is intensifying for the experienced right-back.
Their sources indicate Wolves' interest stems from their need for ‘proven’ experience. On another note, given the fact that no transfer fee will be involved, it may seem like a fairly cheap deal to do. At 34-years-old, though, his wages may make Rob Edwards' side think again.
According to Salary Sport, James Tavernier currently earns £30k per week at Rangers, which equates to around £1.56m per year.
When looking at the wider Rangers squad, this amount of money positions Tavernier as the fourth-highest paid player at the club, even behind Wolves' own Nasser Djiga, who's on loan at the Glasgow giants earning an estimated £39k per week.
Yet, by current estimates from Capology, Tavernier would slot into the middle of Wolves' pack if he earned the same in the Championship.

When looking at Wolves' Capology list, Tavernier's £30k per week seems like it wouldn't make a dent - but that will surely change in the Championship.
As already stated, Joao Gomes is very likely to leave the club, but the Brazilian midfielder earns an estimated £105k per week at Molineux, which is the highest. This works out at £75k more than Tavernier's wage at Rangers.
Perhaps the more relevant estimated wage to look at is Tchatchoua's. The Cameroon international is listed on Capology to be earning £65k per week. Hypothetically speaking, if Wolves were to replace him with Tavernier, they could be saving more than double in player wages.
In terms of which players are the closest to Tavernier in wages, David Moller Wolfe and Yerson Mosquera are both estimated to be on £30k per week.
It remains to be seen how much money the Rangers star would actually want in wages at a new club, although Wolves could definitely offer a good salary within reason - especially when you look at how much they're giving other players.
