Palmeiras reconvened on Wednesday night without their seven World Cup call-ups, who will remain in the United States until their national teams’ campaigns finish.

Uruguay, with Piquerez and Emiliano Martínez, also need a positive result to progress. Argentina and Colombia have 100% records. Palmeiras return on 23 July against Coritiba at 21:30 at Couto Pereira in the 19th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
