How the play-off ties would look: Unión set to face River

With the current results, Madelón’s team remains seventh in Zone A and would face River. There are still two matchdays left to determine the final bracket.

Unión has 19 points and would be among the top eight if the tournament ended today. Their campaign has been solid and very even: 5 wins, 4 draws, and 5 losses. However, the standings are tight: San Lorenzo and Defensa y Justicia also have 19 points, so the margin for error is minimal in the two remaining matches before the end of the first stage.
