Newcastle United take on Barcelona on Wednesday night looking to pull off one of the biggest results in the club’s history and progress to the Champions League quarter finals.
The two sides are level at 1-1 following their draw at St James’ Park.

Barcelona are unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions, winning five of them and drawing with Newcastle in the first leg.
Newcastle followed up their draw with Barca by beating Chelsea on Saturday.
Barcelona boss Hansi Flick: “Newcastle is a physical team. Very aggressive. They also defend very well in the final third of the pitch. But in transition they are also quick and possess player with great speed.”
“If they play man-to-man, we’ll have to look for the spaces. We’ve worked on what we need to do today. It will be a tough match tomorrow.
“We’ve talked about it. We have to play with confidence. That’s important for tomorrow. We have focused on what we must do better from last week. We’ll have to play our perfect match.”
Newcastle boss Eddie Howe: “We try to treat every game like it is the Champions League final, without using cliches. Yes, we’re in a different environment. We will enjoy the game when it comes, but we will only truly enjoy it if we deliver what we know we need to deliver.”
