Man Utd visit Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.

It has been a season to forget for Manchester United as they are set for their lowest ever Premier League points total.

They are now 12 points behind seventh-placed Aston Villa. Their last match was a 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace despite the sending off of Palace defender Chris Richards, and they have won just one of the last ten in all competitions.

Man Utd entered their last Premier League match flying high after a European night to remember, coming from behind to beat Lyon. But they followed it up with a 1-0 loss last weekend in the Premier League to Wolves, a Pablo Sarabia free-kick the difference maker. They are without a win in the last four league games.

What’s been said?

Iraola had this to say about his side’s chances of European qualification: “We don’t know what’s going to happen or what position will give you access to Europe.

“There are seven teams comfortably ahead of us and three or four teams we are fighting with for a possible spot. We like to think that there is at least one position open but we know it will be difficult because we have a difficult schedule.”

Ruben Amorim : “It’s important to not lose, we need to have the feeling that every game here is important and we have to win every game.

“We are going to face this game with the best team. I will try to prepare for this game and try to win the next one.”
