Braga have been inconsistent at times this season but remain a strong side. The Portuguese outfit are currently within the top eight in the Europa League, sitting in seventh. Under the control of Pep Guardiola’s former assistant Carlos Vicens, they will know what to expect from their English opposition.
Forest too have faced inconsistencies this season – characterised in their last two matches. They were knocked out of the FA Cup by Championship Wrexham, before holding Premier League leaders Arsenal to a goalless draw. Currently 11th in Europe, Sean Dyche’s side will still harbour ambitions of a top eight finish.
Braga head coach Carlos Vicens: “In England there are different styles. We will work hard so that the opponent’s intensity levels are equalled by us. We have to be in our best version to get the victory.”
Nottingham Forest boss Sean Dyche: “Ideally we want to finish in the top eight. It’s not easy and we still have two tough games to go. But first thing’s first, it’s about not getting too carried away with that and making sure we get the job done in the first place. We certainly come here with the viewpoint of winning.”
