HSV complete loan signing of David Møller Wolfe from Wolverhampton | OneFootball

David Møller Wolfe has joined Hamburger SV on a season-long loan deal from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Bundesliga outfit confirmed the signing of the Norway international on Tuesday evening.

“David is an experienced player at both club and international level, and he most recently demonstrated his qualities at the World Cup on football’s biggest stage. He adds further depth to our squad and increases the versatility of our game,” said HSV board member for sport Kathleen Krüger. 

“David is a very professional and reliable team player. He has a calm, down-to-earth and positive character. He will fit into the team very well and be able to integrate quickly. We are very pleased to welcome another new face to HSV.”

Møller Wolfe was convinced to join the North German club following talks with sporting director Claus Costa and head coach Merlin Polzin.

“After speaking with Claus and Merlin, I really wanted to come here. I have never felt so wanted by a club in my career, and I firmly believe that this could be a great fit for both sides. It is the right step for me to continue developing and become the player I want to be. I have a lot of energy that I want to bring to the team, and I am a passionate person who always leaves everything on the pitch,” said Möller Wolfe.
