Huddersfield’s Sorba Thomas undergoing medical ahead of Nantes loan

According to Foot Mercato, Sorba Thomas (25) is undergoing a medical ahead of a potential move to FC Nantes from Huddersfield Town. The Welsh international is a key target for Les Canaris as they aim to improve their attacking options for the upcoming Ligue 1 season.

The 25-year-old will arrive at the Stade de la Beaujoire on a temporary basis. It does not appear that any purchase option will be included in the loan deal which would allow the Ligue 1 outfit to acquire the services of the wide attacker permanently.

Foot Mercato report that there are a few details to iron out between Nantes and Huddersfield before a final agreement can be reached for Thomas. However, these details are minor and none of them are expected to block the Welshman’s move to France. Thomas played a pivotal part for the Terriers last season making 41 appearances in the EFL Championship.
