Man Utd boss Ruben Amorim says Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount are both back available for selection again following their injury problems.

Both missed the Manchester derby defeat because of knocks but Amorim has confirmed that both are back in contention for the clash with Chelsea on Saturday.

The Portuguese coach confirmed: “Dalot is out, Mase is in the squad and Cunha is in the squad. Licha is still out, I think that is it.

“I’m really happy with Mason and Cunha returning.”

United’s boss also revealed that Lisandro Martinez has returned to training. The defender has been absent since February after suffering a serious knee injury.

“It’s really important,” Amorim said of the Argentine international’s return. “When you have that injury you recover a lot of times very fast and then there is a boring part where it looks like you don’t go to the next step.

“We miss Licha a lot. We miss the aggression in this moment, how aggressive he is in everything he does, we miss him.

“But he’s always there in every meeting, even in training, he stays there to watch the training. I think we need Licha in this team.”

Following a disappointing start to the season and a number of underwhelming performances, pressure has been growing on Amorim’s position. He explained: “This is football and this is maybe the club with the most pressure in the world.

“We want to win. And again, you can say whatever. I think last year I was very critical of the way we played.

“I think we are playing well until the boxes – defending and attacking. We need to be more aggressive in the boxes and we need to be more clincal.

“The rest, I think we are improving. And comparing to last year, I think we’re in a better place.

“But we need to win and we lost against Arsenal and City. Here losing, especially in the beginning, after last season, is a problem.”
