Hugh Jackman says he is in talks over buying a stake in Norwich City, potentially following Ryan Reynolds into football ownership.

"I'm very, very interested - and talking about it right now. You're the first one to know that. There's a little exclusive."

He was speaking to talkSPORT.

"Good on Ryan, you do your thing, I'm all about the Canaries."

A lifelong Norwich fan, with his mother from Norfolk, Jackman previously turned down a chance to become a minor investor in 2010, later saying he had only visited Carrow Road once with his mum and opted not to proceed.

Norwich sit 20th in the Championship.

The club are majority owned by American businessman Mark Attanasio with 85%, Delia Smith and Michael Wynn-Jones retain 10%, and the remainder is held by independent fans and investors.

Celebrity investment has grown, with Tom Brady taking a stake in Birmingham in 2023 and JJ Watt buying into Burnley in the same year.

Whether Jackman becomes the next Hollywood owner remains to be seen.
