Hugo Larsson’s first appearance for Fulham has immediately converted his loan from Eintracht Frankfurt into a permanent transfer.

Kicker reports that the clause was activated by a first competitive outing, with Frankfurt to receive €22m.

The 22-year-old came on in the 79th minute for Oscar Bobb during Saturday’s 3-2 home defeat to Crystal Palace, four days after completing his move to west London.

Álvaro Arbeloa’s side have now lost three Premier League matches and remain without a point after three fixtures.

Larsson departs Germany after three years with Eintracht, having joined from boyhood club Malmö FF in the summer of 2023 and quickly established himself in midfield.

He made 119 competitive appearances across the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Europe, scoring 10 goals, and had been under contract with Frankfurt through 2029 before the parties chose to part this summer.

The structure mirrors Jean-Mattéo Bahoya’s deadline-day move to Leeds United, which also began as a loan with a mandatory purchase clause.
