Hugo Sotelo set for Levante loan move

Hugo Sotelo is close to being confirmed as a Levante signing, with the Celta de Vigo midfielder at the Ciutat de València to complete a season-long loan.

AS reports the operation at €100,000 with a non-compulsory €3 million option for 50 per cent of his rights.

The 22-year-old arrives seeking the minutes that eluded him at Balaídos, and to showcase his qualities as a midfield organiser.

Comfortable on the ball with sharp game intelligence, he carries possession well, distributes with purpose and finds passes between the lines. He can also operate as a pivot, having improved defensively under Claudio Giráldez.

Levante add a versatile option in the centre, while Sotelo targets continuity and progress across the campaign at Orriols.
