Corinthians beat São Bernardo 1-0 on Sunday as Hugo Souza made his 100th appearance for the club.

According to Meu Timao, he arrived on 16 July 2024, debuting in a 2-1 league win over Criciúma. Signed from Flamengo for R$ 7.3 million after a loan at Chaves, he replaced Carlos Miguel and convinced supporters quickly.
