Hugo Souza returned to the pitch in Corinthians training on Thursday morning as he recovers from a thigh issue. He is still considered a doubt for Sunday against Vasco da Gama, according to Meu Timao.

The goalkeeper had missed the Barra match on Tuesday due to muscular pain, but trained normally alongside Kauê and Felipe Longo during the 15 minutes available to the press at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava.

Memphis Depay and Gui Negão continued separate on-grass work with the fitness staff as they recover from thigh injuries. Charles and João Pedro stayed indoors, while André Luiz remains out with flu. Executive director Marcelo Paz and new football manager Julio César watched closely.

The early portion featured running, passing and heading drills. The squad then split for finishing with transition, with Breno Bidon, Yuri Alberto, Rodrigo Garro and Pedro Raul in one group, and Vitinho, Matheus Pereira, Kaio César, Zakaria Labyad and André Carrillo in the other.

After the media left, Fernando Diniz oversaw an opposed game focused on building play. The session also included eight academy players, among them Cauã Ribeiro, Cauã Souza, Caraguá, Heitor, Lucca Caramico, Drude, Kevin Fernando and Léo Amistá, aged 16 to 19.

The match is scheduled for 26 at 16:00 at Neo Química Arena. Fernando Diniz’s side need a win to climb out of the Brasileirão relegation zone.
