After uncertainty over a closed-doors request from the Buenos Aires city authorities, Huracán will host River at the Tomás Adolfo Ducó on Thursday in the Torneo Apertura 2026, with attendance capped at around 30 percent, a maximum of 15,000.

The club said in a statement that playing without fans again was not an option, that any restriction must be backed by a report setting attendance parameters, and that the measures being sought lacked technical and legal support.

The limit follows works at the Estación Buenos Aires complex after the collapse of a slab in a nearby car park.

Public access will be organised via Avenidas Amancio Alcorta and Vélez Sarsfield, the routes furthest from the affected area.

The René Houseman and Herminio Masantonio stands will be open, along with the Guillermo Stábile terrace.
