Eintracht Frankfurt and Hyundai to continue their successful partnership until 2029.

The cooperation, which has been running since the 2020/21 season, will continue and be expanded in the long term, with Hyundai remaining a reliable partner to Eintracht in the area of modern mobility solutions. Both parties follow the same aim of developing innovative and sustainable concepts, which are consistently oriented towards the needs of fans and members. This extension underscores the commitment to further strengthen the partnership and generate new momentum, both around matchdays and beyond. A key component of the partnership remains the ongoing development of the joint vehicle fleet, with a focus on increasing electrification. Today, electrified Hyundai models already make up around an 80 percent share.

Successful formats

In addition, existing campaigns will be strengthened and new ones developed. Successful formats such as the “Adler Shuttle” and “SGE Moments” have impressively demonstrated in recent years how the partnership between a Bundesliga club and an automotive manufacturer can be brought to life in an emotionally engaging way. In total, over 550,000 fans have already participated in the two competitions over the past three Bundesliga seasons. Going forward, these formats will be further developed and supplemented with new ideas – with a clear focus on fan engagement and unique brand experiences.

Axel Hellmann, CEO of Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG, said: “The extension of our partnership with Hyundai is a clear statement of trust, reliability and continuity. Over the past few years, we have demonstrated together how a modern, collaborative and sustainable partnership in professional football can be successfully shaped. Our focus has not been solely on traditional sponsorship approaches, but on creating genuine added value and driving innovation. Building on this foundation, we aim to further develop our collaboration in the coming years and set new standards. A particular focus will be on developing and implementing forward-looking mobility solutions that offer concrete benefits to our fans, members and employees, while also contributing to greater sustainability. We are very much looking forward to continuing on this successful path together with Hyundai, expanding existing projects and implementing new ideas that will strengthen both our partnership and the long-term development of our club.”

Andreas Zürnstein, President & CEO Hyundai Motor Deutschland, said: “The partnership with Eintracht Frankfurt exemplifies our commitment to reimagining mobility in an innovative, reliable and sustainable way, with a focus on people’s needs. Together, we create experiences that go far beyond traditional sponsorship and mobility. Moving forward, we will continue to leverage our technologies and ideas to inspire Hyundai fans and bring modern mobility solutions to life.”

With this extension, Hyundai Motor Deutschland and Eintracht Frankfurt are making a long-term commitment to the continued development of their partnership, particularly in the areas of activation and mobility.
