Leeds United winger Willy Gnonto has admitted he falls asleep on the coach to matches while he watches football videos with team-mate Ilia Gruev, who he finds less than entertaining.
The Verbania-born attacking talent spent time within Inter Milan’s youth system, where he impressed at the club’s youth levels.
Swiss giants Zurich signed him from the Serie A club and Gnonto contributed to 22 goals directly in 74 senior games.
Four years ago, the Whites signed Gnonto from Zurich and one former White quickly lauded his capture as ‘great business’.
Former Leeds star Junior Firpo, who played with Gnonto, then hailed the young Italian attacker for his talent levels early doors at Elland Road.

He is still only 22, but has struggled for game time this season, amid Leeds looking like they are going to be safe, having started only four Premier League games this term.
Despite a lack of starts, Gnonto has remained a key part of the squad, regularly involved in matchday squads and travelling to games, with strong bonds formed with his team-mates.
Gnonto, asked how he passes his time during travelling to away matches with the Leeds squad, revealed that he watches football videos with Gruev.
“Yes, me and Ilia, [we watch] tactics lessons on the coach”, Gnonto told LUTV (8:39).

However, for Gnonto the football videos and Gruev’s company is not enough to keep his eyes open and he revealed that he regularly falls asleep.
“No, I always end up sleeping – yes, Ilia is not the most entertaining person in the world.
“Everyone has a different way to spend time and enjoy, and that is mine.”
Gnonto has admitted that he wanted to play more for Daniel Farke’s side this term to help the Yorkshire giants, who have performed well throughout the campaign.
Weekend FA Cup opponents Chelsea are in complete disarray and it remains to be seen whether the Italian winger will be able to put in an impressive performance if given the chance to at Wembley by Farke.
Beyond the end of the season, Gnonto’s future is unclear, with the Italy international unhappy with a lack of game time and likely in the sights of a number of sides.
