One Leicester City star still believes the east Midlands club's situation can be turned around. He insists it remains possible for City to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season. I must admit that I admire this footballer's self-confidence. And the Blue Army at large will certainly appreciate the sentiment.
However, this promise is unlikely to affect the scenario LCFC find themselves in, sadly. It will be extremely difficult to realise the likeable defender's aim. Although City did prevail from a very similar position around 10 years ago. And in the intervening time, they won almost everything going domestically. So us supporters of the King Power outfit are also fairly ambitious in that regard. Belief which has been a gift and a curse for supporters and the club, to be honest.
The popular player in question has just returned from injury, so you can probably guess who I'm talking about. The right back has been an important part of several Leicester team incarnations over recent years. Therefore having him back fit is actually a blessing in itself.
