Former Tottenham player Jamie O’Hara has given Enzo Maresca some advice about summer signing Alejandro Garnacho.
Garnacho was handed his first start in the Carabao Cup third round tie away at Lincoln on Tuesday night after making substitute appearances against Brentford and Bayern Munich.
Chelsea scraped past the League One high flyers with a 2-1 win, and will now travel to Wolves in the fourth round.
Garnacho joined from Manchester United for £40m in the summer, and was one of five attacking signings Chelsea made.
The 21-year-old played 59 minutes against Lincoln, and despite showing some nice moments here and there on the ball he struggled to make a major impact on proceedings.

However, Maresca admitted after the game he was happy with the performance of Garnacho, but O’Hara has now offered some advice.
“I don’t think he’s a right-winger,” he told talkSport’s The Sport’s Bar.
“I watched him at Man Utd, I don’t think he was very good on the right.
“He’s a player who likes to come inside, I don’t know why you would play him on the right.”
Garnacho of course is better in his natural position on the left, but at Chelsea he could well be required to become more versatile and show he can also be effective on the right wing.
Garnacho wasn’t the only Argentine youngster on the pitch, with Facundo Buonanotte handed his second start after a surprise loan move from Brighton.

Buonanotte scored his first Chelsea goal as he poked home what turned out to be the winner early in the second half after a neat exchange with Tyrique George.
Maresca admitted he was really happy with Buonanotte’s performance, and it will be interesting to see what opportunities he gets throughout the season.
