Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha (26) has declared his love for the club and the French capital, dismissing the possibility of a summer transfer. This is particularly true of Real Madrid, with whom his name has been linked several times in recent months.

“It would be foolish to leave. I don’t think it’s the best thing for me right now. I feel great here in Paris,” said the Portuguese international, who has 35 caps, in an interview with Canal 11. “I feel loved by the fans, I feel I’ve won their affection, we have a fantastic team.”

A key player in Luis Enrique’s squad, Vitinha was instrumental in PSG’s successful 2024-25 season, which culminated in the club’s first ever Champions League victory. His performances have attracted interest from numerous suitors, including some outside Europe, starting with Saudi Arabia. However, this destination does not interest the third-place finisher in the 2025 Ballon d’Or rankings.

“I already earn a very good living here in Europe, at a big club. Doubling or tripling my salary wouldn’t make me any happier,” he explained. With a contract at PSG until 2029, Vitinha seems in no hurry to leave, much to the delight of his supporters.
