‘I love Barcelona’ – Summer signing is already infatuated with Hansi Flick’s Blaugrana | OneFootball

Barcelona summer signing Gabriel Jesus has revealed that he is already loving life in Catalunya’s capital under the watch of Hansi Flick.

This comes fresh off the Brazilian being afforded his Blaugrana bow this past weekend.

Frontman Jesus of course took his talents to La Liga last week, in a late-window move from Premier League champions Arsenal. After the Camp Nou brass came up short in their pursuit of first-choice striker target Julián Alvarez, the 29-year-old was earmarked as the ideal cut-price alternative.

Jesus, in turn, spent last week settling into his new surroundings, before being afforded his Barca debut off the bench in a 5-0 drubbing of Valencia on Sunday.

And if his post-match comments are anything to go by, then the one-time Manchester City man appears to be acclimatising very well indeed.

Drawn on his start to life in Barcelona on Sunday, Jesus explained:

“We have a very great team full of quality and we play beautiful football. I have to make the most of my chances to play.

“I love football and I love Barcelona. This is the way I love playing! It makes me very happy.”
