Former England striker Wayne Rooney has opted with Didier Drogba in a debate around which striker is the best this week.

These days, we see so many different football Podcasts and shows around, you can always grab some top content to watch, if that is your kind of thing.

EXCLUSIVE! Two more NEW names added to Chelsea summer list of targets – One from Wolves and one from Atletico Madrid!! 👀

The Overlap has been a welcome addition to the football content lovers, and the latest show has dropped this week, featuring Rooney and of course, a mainstay presenter on the show, Jamie Carragher.

The pair debated who the better striker is/was out of Drogba and Erling Haaland, which of course, is a very tough debate because these are two of the best strikers to ever play the game.

Rooney picks Drogba

Speaking on The Overlap YouTube, Wayne Rooney and Jamie Carragher were reading out fan questions and it led to ‘who is better out of Didier Drogba and Erling Haaland’.

“I think Erling Haaland is a better goal scorer than Drogba. If I’m trying to make a decision here, the questions is if you’re going into a Champions League semi-final, two legs, who do you want in your team? And at this moment in time I would have picked Drogba.”

Drogba was certainly a big game player, so in this scenario I think most would pick him, with respect to Haaland, who is world class.

In other news…

Nicolas Jackson’s future has been the big talking point of the day, with tons of speculation about whether he could come back to Chelsea.

Unlike Jackson, Moises Caicedo won’t be going anywhere, but there is still speculation around him as he awaits a new contract.
