Ignacio Miramón will leave Boca Juniors when his loan expires on 31 December, and will continue in Argentine football. According to LaNumer12.com.ar, the 22-year-old will return to Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata on a new loan after going back to Lille.

The midfielder joined Boca from Lille on loan in 2024 and featured regularly at first. He made 17 appearances that year but never nailed down a place.

In 2025 he played only three times in the Apertura. He was named on the bench three times in the last competition and his departure had been expected for months.

His 18-month loan from Lille carried no fee but included a conditional obligation to buy for $3 million if he exceeded 70% of matches. That threshold was not met.

Born in San Carlos de Bolívar, he joined Gimnasia in 2019 and was promoted to the first team by Diego Maradona. He trained with the seniors in August 2020 and featured in a friendly against San Lorenzo.

His top-flight debut came on 19 February 2021 in a win over Talleres de Córdoba. He later earned an Argentina Under-20 call-up alongside Lautaro Di Lollo and Brian Aguirre.

In August 2023 he moved to Lille for around $8 million, then returned to Argentina on loan with Boca.
