According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Igor Tudor has reached an agreement to take over as Tottenham’s interim head coach. Spurs are struggling and are rivals of Leeds United in the fight for Premier League survival.
Spurs suffered their 11th Premier League defeat in Tuesday night’s home match against Newcastle United, which left them one place and one point behind Leeds.
Thomas Frank was sacked the following day. On Friday it emerged the club were seeking an experienced interim to lead the team until the end of the season.
The 47-year-old former Juventus boss, a former Croatia international centre-back, is the choice to steady the side.
Tudor has coached Hajduk Split, PAOK, Karabükspor, Galatasaray, Udinese, Hellas Verona, Marseille, Lazio and Juventus over the past decade.
He succeeded Thiago Motta at Juventus in March 2025 and led them to fourth and Champions League qualification. He was sacked in October after eight games without a victory.
