Opta's supercomputer has issued updated Premier League projections after a significant weekend for Leeds United and their relegation rivals.
Leeds beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 on Friday, moving nine clear of the relegation zone and nine ahead of third-bottom West Ham, albeit having played one game more. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the revised model reflects those shifts.
West Ham then won 2-0 at second-bottom Burnley on Saturday, with goals from ex-Leeds star Crysencio Summerville and Taty Castellanos. The result kept the gap between Leeds and West Ham as it was and left Leeds three points ahead of Forest, who are three above West Ham.
Later on Saturday, Tottenham lost 2-0 at Manchester United, leaving Leeds level on points with Spurs with the same number of games played.
Crystal Palace are also on 29 points, but have a game in hand which comes at Brighton on Sunday.
Opta's updated top end now reads Arsenal first on 83 points, Manchester City second on 72, and Aston Villa third on 70. Chelsea are up to fourth on 64, Liverpool drop to fifth on 63, and Manchester United sit sixth on 63.
