In Cotia, the under-17s thrash Bahia in the Brasileirão

The U-17 side thrashed Bahia 6-1 this Tuesday at CFA Laudo Natel in Cotia (SP), in the 13th round of the Brazilian Championship for the age group. Tricolor’s goals were scored by Miranda (2), Brenno, Robert, Kauã Daniel, and Hiago. With the win, the team reached 20 points and a 17-match unbeaten run this season.

São Paulo opened the scoring in the 19th minute of the first half. In the move, Davi Pena crossed to Miranda, who powered a header into the net. In the 27th minute, Brenno doubled the lead from the penalty spot. The visitors pulled one back in the 34th minute after a corner kick.

After the break, Tricolor found the net again. In the first minute, Robert received a good pass from Zabarelli and made it 3-1 for the Made In Cotia side. In the 7th minute, Kauã Daniel pounced on the goalkeeper’s rebound to score the fourth. In the 40th minute, Miranda grabbed his second of the match. In the final play of the game, Hiago received a pass from Carlos and completed the rout for Tricolor.

Now, the team turns its attention to the Paulista U-17 Championship. On Saturday, at 11 a.m., São Paulo will face Paulinense in Cotia.
