The Cityzens put six goals past the Grecians without reply after just 54 minutes, including a debut goal from Max Alleyne and a first Rodri goal since 2024.
City led 4-0 at the break and Rico Lewis quickly added a fifth after half time, following an assist from debutant Antoine Semenyo.

Just five minutes later, Semenyo, who completed his high-profile move from Bournemouth to Man City yesterday, got on the scoresheet himself by racing on to Rayan Cherki's excellent assist and curling into the net.
Not only did that goal mark the Ghanaian's first in sky blue, but it also took Cherki to 16 goal contributions for the season.

Can Pep Guardiola's side add any more goals to complete a commanding FA Cup victory?
