Premier League title-chasers Manchester City have completed what could be the statement signing of the January transfer window after confirming a deal for Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo.
The 25-year-old goalscoring winger arrives at the Etihad in the hopes of pushing Pep Guardiola's troops over the line in a neck-and-neck title fight with league rival Arsenal.

He joins for a reported £62.5m fee which is below the £65m release clause in his Cherries contract but Bournemouth do stand to make an additional £1.5m in add-ons and also hold a 10% sell-on fee.
One of the brightest forward talents in the Premier League across the last two seasons, Semenyo's rapid rise up the football ladder dates back to a breakout campaign with Bristol City in 2021/22 before enjoying a fine first full season with the Cherries two seasons later.
Under Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola, the London-born forward has hit his stride, bagging 11 goals in 2024/25, and is on pace to flirt with a 20-goal return in the current 2025/26 campaign.
With a move now complete, City are capable of calling upon attacking depth that also includes Erling Haaland, Omar Marmoush, Jérémy Doku, Rayan Cherki, Phil Foden, and for the moment, Oscar Bobb and Savinho.
