“In the future…” – Fabian Ruiz talks about transfer away from PSG | OneFootball

Fabian Ruiz has spoken about life after PSG, and has made it very clear that he knows where he’d like to go next.

Fabian Ruiz is coming off an incredible year, having won the Champions League (for the second year in a row) and then the World Cup just a couple of months later.

He’s now 30, but remains an integral part of PSG’s team. He’s just signed a new contract, and continues to be a regular for Luis Enrique and for Spain.

On international duty this week, he spoke about his future- and where he would like to be after his time in Paris. Ruiz grew up in Andalusia and is a Real Betis fan. He came through the academy there, and has long said he would like to go back one day.

“I’ve always said it, I try to watch all their matches and I’m happy with their good results. I’m a Betis supporter, everyone knows that,” Ruiz said to the media in his home country.

“I would like to finish my career there. It’s not the time, but it will surely happen in the future.”

He will be hoping to rack up quite a few more trophies before that time comes.
