Nicolas Jackson is coming back to Chelsea from his loan at Bayern at the end of the season, but there may not be room for him.

Chelsea still have a lot of season left to play, but the summer will be here before we know it, and there are big decisions already being made.

Nicolas Jackson is coming back from Bayern Munich, where his loan hasn’t worked out, and Chelsea’s transfer team need to work out what to do with him next year. There are rumours he could stick around and play for Liam Rosenior, despite seeming to have burned his bridges at Chelsea by forcing a move to Germany.

The other factor in all this is the arrival of Emmanuel Emegha. The Strasbourg striker agreed a deal to join us from sister club Strasbourg way back in September, and has since spent most of his time out injured.

It would not be impossible to have him, Jackson in Delap all in the same squad, but knowing how these sporting directors operate, they will likely want to have three such important assets more spread out to ensure they are all playing and increasing in value.

So Jackson feels the most likely to move on, either on loan or permanently, if a buyer can be found at the right price.
